Saving This Article

[edit]

Hello, I'm trying to save this article in Azwiki. They say that this person is not encyclopedic. Can you help me by writing the reason why this person is encyclopedic? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oyuncu Aykhan (talkcontribs) 18:23, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Oyuncu Aykhan: Well, what's "unencyclopedic" is not Armen Dorian, but Azerbaijani Wikipedia. I mean, what's so "unencyclopedic" about this intellectual figure? He started a literary movement and founded a newspaper in France for crying out loud. His life has been discussed in numerous reliable sources including that of Turkish authors and historians such as Fatma Müge Göçek and Pars Tuğlacı. But wait. Oh I see, it must be the fact that he was killed mercilessly during the Armenian Genocide. So I guess the issue isn't about Armen Dorian, it's more about a group of editors not liking that particular fact. Étienne Dolet (talk) 23:48, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@EtienneDolet: Look, I don't want you to call Azwiki like that. I just needed facts to save it. But thank you. This information might save the article. --Oyuncu Aykhan (talk)
